Building on the success of its 50 years, RAPIDO, known for its expertise in terms of A-Class motorhomes, complements its A-Class range with the presentation of the New 8 Series, presented for the first time at the show CMT in Stuttgart, Germany.
This brand new series represents a new link between the range of RAPIDO Low profiles and A-Class, and meets customer demand for easier access to the world of A-Class and the comfort of spacious interiors.
The new 8 Series is very contemporary with an ambiance Pino Varese, well known and appreciated by RAPIDO customers. Its standard equipment is very comprehensive, and the price positioning extremely attractive.
The model launched is the 891F, with central rear bed above large storage space, in Pino Varese interior.
Official launch announced for March 3, 2012.
The 8 Series :
This new series is above all a RAPIDO model, for its style and the search for quality finish ; you will find – as a choice – the very particular and cosy ambiance in the new style of the 2012 collection with furniture Harmony PINO VARESE, based on a very contemporary dual tone ambiance, or the warm ambiance with honey tones of the furniture Harmony CILEGIO.

Actually, its price places it at the level of our top of the range Low Profiles of the Series 70/70dF, and just below the 9dF Series.
One model will be presented simultaneously at the show in Stuttgart in Germany and at the show in Pau in the south of France to launch this new Series : the 891F with central rear bed.
This layout, a new development of the 2012 collection, has been presented successfully on the 991dF (Series 9dF with technical double floor).
The success of this layout during the first months of the season is due to real optimisation of interior space, with permanent search for well-being, whether you are in the sleeping room, the bathroom or the lounge. No doubt the 891F will be as successful as the 991dF thanks to its very contemporary interior and its extremely attractive price/equipment ratio.
The New 891F :
The outside design offers Champagne colour skirts.
Walls and roof are made in polyester and offer efficient anti-hail protection.
Let us begin the presentation in the sleeping room : the central bed, surrounded by two wardrobes, has 2 sleeping spaces wit ha dimension of 1930mm x1400mm, very comfortable with Bultex mattrass, suspended slats and permanent ventilation.
The cab bed offers the same comfort, which is rare in the world of today’s motorhomes.
A lot of light is present in the sleeping room thanks to two windows, one of which panoramic so that you can fully enjoy sunrise or sundown, thus contributing to a feeling of great space.
Much space also in the bathroom. To be at ease and for enhanced comfort, the 891F is equipped with a new larger shower.
A rigid sliding door separates sleeping room and bathroom from the kitchen, ensuring a maximum of privacy.
The « L »-shaped kitchen offers a lot of storage, as well as an extraction hood as standard. Note the search for detail in the design and finish of the worktop edge and the surrounding walls, just at the right dimensions!
The worktop edge is in massive maple wood, underlining the quality of the product.
Storage underneath is spacious, and an oven is available as an option (standard in the UK).
The fridge is very big with 150L – and AES – so you can travel wherever you want!
The lounge is a real Rapido lounge and offers a lot of space for 5 people, with Modena fabric in dual tone, nice to see and to touch. Other fabrics are available as an option.
The rear storage offers much appreciated space, and its straight walls make storing any objects very easy.
Like other RAPIDO A-Class models, the 891F is equipped with additional storage space underfloor and accessible from the inside (RAPIDO innovation), allowing to store away objects like water bottles, shoes … and containing 123 litres.
Equipment is comprehensive, as standard you will find the latest Pioneer radio, ABS, driver airbag, cruise control, cab air conditioning, 130hp engine, anti-hail polyester roof …
Engines
130hp as standard, with possible optional upgrade to 150hp 2,3l (requiring passenger airbag) and 180hp 3,0l (requiring Heavy chassis 4,25t and passenger airbag)
Extra-wide rear track
Thanks to its extra-wide rear track of 1980 mm (+190mm compared to the standard Fiat chassis), the 8 Series offers excellent stability and driving comfort, and a real feeling of road safety.

Available also with upgrade to 3,65 T (standard chassis 3,5t or 3,65t) and possible option 4,250t.
As you can notice, with its equipment level, concept, design and finish, the 891F is certainly the best model with central rear bed in its price range on the European market.
